Randomizing…

How to generate a draft order (so you can stop arguing)

Paste each participant on its own line then hit Generate. Don't like who got the first pick? Click again — the computer doesn't care about your feelings and will happily reshuffle until someone shuts up.

Keep it fair and fast. No coin flips, no awkward rock-paper-scissors rematches, no that-one-guy insisting on “one more time.” Randomizing the order is the simplest way to avoid bias and the best way to keep the peace in fantasy leagues, office pools, tournaments, or wherever humans feel entitled to argue about trivial things.

Use it for drafts, seatings, matchups, or any situation where you need a neutral, unbiased order. Enter twenty names or two — the tool treats them all the same. Want a quick tip? If your league runs a snake draft, randomize once for pick order and then apply your snake rules — the tool handles the tough part.

Need something slightly different?

If you just need to pick a single name, try the Random Name Picker. Need a name for the team? Use the Team Name Generatorsplit people into teams instead of an order? Use the Random Group Generator. Both are fast, fair, and about as emotionally available as this page.
